PlayStation has announced that its next State of Play event will be taking place on Thursday, February 25th at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT. The livestream event will reveal new information about upcoming games, including the highly anticipated Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League game.
The State of Play event is expected to last around 30 minutes, during which time viewers will be treated to new game announcements, trailers, and gameplay footage. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is one of the most highly anticipated games that will be featured in the event.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is being developed by Rocksteady Studios, the team behind the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham series. The game is set in the same universe as the Arkham games and will see players taking on the roles of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang as they attempt to take down the Justice League, who have been brainwashed by the villainous Brainiac.
The game is set to feature both single-player and co-op gameplay, allowing players to team up with friends to take on the game’s challenges. It is also expected to feature an open-world environment, which will allow players to explore and interact with the game’s world in a variety of ways.
The State of Play event will be available to watch on the PlayStation Twitch and YouTube channels, as well as on the PlayStation website. If you’re unable to watch the event live, a VOD (video on demand) will be made available shortly after the event ends.
In addition to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the State of Play event is also expected to feature updates on a number of other upcoming games, including the highly anticipated Kena: Bridge of Spirits, which is a visually stunning action-adventure game that has been in development for several years.
